The Roberson School of Music is conveniently located in Columbia, MD. We offer enriching classes and lessons in: piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, viola, cello, bass, saxophone, clarinet, flute, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, baritone, euphonium, horn, tuba  and preschool music to students of all ages from brand new beginners who are just starting the basics to advanced musicians training for professional careers. RSM in Concert at Carnegie Hall New York

Are you ready to perform in New York? Be part of our 2018 Carnegie Hall debut! Start preparing now. Solos, duet and ensemble pieces are encouraged for auditions. Auditions will take place April 14, 2018 at RSM. Visit the Carnegie Hall webpage for details and ticket information.

Congratulations to RSM student Sean Cheng for winning 2nd place in the 2017 MSMTA Spring Piano Festival level 11B and 2nd place in the 2017 Miriam Shields Gottlieb Memorial Piano Competition.

Congratulations to RSM’s 2017 Piano Guild and MTNA Studio Festival Winners Scoring Superior Plus, Superior Superior Minus, Excellent Plus and Excellent Ratings. Congratulations to RSM students that participated in the 2017 MSMTA theory exam this year. All students scored in the 85% percentile or above, a Superior and Excellent rating. Congratulations to RSM students, Nailah Downing, for winning First Place Gold Medals in Vocal Classical and Vocal Contemporary Music of the 2016 Act-So competition for Prince George’s County and Nova Grissom, for winning Third Place Bonze Medal in Instrumental Music category of the 2016 Act-So competition in Howard County.
