Ms. Heather Fetrow

Ms. Heather Fetrow is a lyric soprano, voice teacher, choral conductor and the newly appointed Associate Director of the Strathmore Children’s Choir’s Treble Chorus. She teachers private voice to students of various ages from beginners to advanced. Some of her past teaching positions include Westminster Conservatory, the Hun School of Princeton and the Browning School in New York City. Her students have been accepted to the New England Conservatory of Music, Oberlin Summer Voice Institute, the Metropolitan Opera’s High School Intensive, Tulane University and Westminster Choir College.

Ms. Fetrow has been featured as a studio artist at Angels Vocal Art in Los Angeles where she was selected to perform on international opera star Vittorio Grigolo’s masterclass series. She also performed scenes from Lucia di Lammermoor, Carmen, L’elisir d’amore and Rigoletto. Recent appearances include the role of Bastienne in Mozart’s Singspiel Bastien und Bastienne with Garden State Opera and the self-created recital “Love and Loneliness” featuring the Hermit Songs by Samuel Barber on the Rutgers University Mallery Recital Series. She is a soprano soloist on the critically acclaimed recording “Heaven to Earth” which features the Westminster Choir and conductor Joseph Flummerfelt. Ms. Fetrow has been featured as a singer extensively across the United States at Brevard Music Center, Bay Area Summer Opera Theater, Amherst Early Music Festival, Liederkranz Opera, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Dell’Arte Opera Ensemble and Kinnara Ensemble. She directs the Parish, Children’s and Youth Choirs of Christ Church United Methodist. Ms. Fetrow is a native of Warren, Ohio and a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
